Production Blog - Editing


Hey Bloggers! It's Marvin, and I am back with another progress check on my commercial about me! I have been making steady progress since my last blog I made. I added a number of things to my commercial. First of all, I added 'fade in' to my commercial. Basically, at the start of my video, it will appear black for about a half a second. Then, the video will smoothly appear, as the brightness of the video restores. Along with this, I also added my music. Once again, I choose the song, "Enjoy Right Now, Today", by Tyler the Creator. In order to match the fading in of my videos and pictures at the start of the commercial, I also made the song fade in. It  creates this effect as if you were 'turning up the volume' on my video. I also added transitions between the videos and pictures. I did this because, before when I just added the videos, once a video ended, it would just skip to the next. It looked very clunky and abrupt. So to fix this, I added transitions. I gave every video a transition, as I want everything to be uniform and identically to each other for formality. In order to keep this uniformity throughout the whole commercial, I also made the font of the caption match. I used a font called "Burbank Big Regular Black", found on the "ibisPaint X" app. I also added a black colored stroke to the text to make it pop. That's all I have for now. Production Blog - Almost Done Editing

Welcome back, bloggers! As mentioned in my previous blog, this blog will be about editing again. I am pleased to say that I am about 3/4 done with editing the film. I want to focus this blog on one main thing. The other feature I will be using. As in the other blog about editing, where I focused of filters and effects that will be used in my final task, I want to mention another element that will be very noticeable.
